California state income tax is added to federal income tax. Employee Social Security and Medicare also reduce your pay. The federal standard deduction is USD 14,600 for this single-filer estimate.
California State Disability Insurance (SDI), which also funds Paid Family Leave, is included by default. Review your coverage in the state payroll settings. Voluntary/private replacement plans, pensions and other insurance deductions are outside this estimate.
This is an annual salary estimate. Actual paycheck withholding can differ with pay frequency, payroll rounding, W-4 settings, benefits and other deductions.
